What Goes Into a Hold Space Event?
Three simple things — designed to feel natural, easy, and actually fun.
A Make
Something to make with your hands. No skill required, no pressure to be good at it — just the joy of creating something.
A Game
Something to laugh over — fast, fun, and just chaotic enough to break the ice without trying.
A Way to Connect
Think less "corporate icebreaker" and more "wait — you also fall asleep to reruns of Bones?!"

Holding space means creating a place where you can show up as you are — and feel seen, heard, understood, and accepted without judgment.
It's about being present, for yourself and for others — showing up without pressure, listening without needing to fix anything, and making room for people to simply be human.
Hi! I'm Claudia. I started Hold Space for two very real reasons.
Making friends as an adult is weirdly hard… and sometimes you need people around you to help refill your cup.
After long days in corporate America, I kept telling myself, "Just sit down, watch Netflix, you'll feel better." Except… I didn't. What I actually wanted was something creative without having to plan it, something social without the pressure, and a place to laugh and maybe meet people who also showed up alone.
So I built it.
What to Bring:
Unless otherwise stated, these events are designed so you can simply show up — no prep, no pressure, no overthinking. Just come as you are, with an open mind and a little curiosity.
And seriously — it's totally cool to come alone.
